I actually like Dirk/Gasol better than Dirk/Shaq.

Gasol is a better defender and passer, and can also hit the mid-range. Obviously he isn't as offensively dominant, but that is why you have Dirk.

shaq had the 2nd greatest peak ever. shaq is the only 1st option for that team. if the offense doesn't go through shaq, then they should just collectively jump off the bridge.

This year's all time fantasy draft was a sham.

I had a trade in place and agreed on that would have gave me my 3rd straight championship. But Spy and and Thee **** blocked me.

Don't like the pairing of Dirk/Shaq at all from a defensive standpoint. Biggest problem with Spy's team.

but they played against vastly inferior talents. and even though everybody was pretty much alpha, the torch has passed to MJ from bird/magic. those 2 were old and was just happy to be there. they didn't care if they played 5 min or 30 min. and MJ knew this, so MJ let those 'old dogs' be the captains. MJ fresh from winning 2nd ring, had no equals outside of bird/magic. so in the end, dream team did have a clear heirarchy.

all these 12 hypothetical teams - ego management is critical in 7 game series against equally talented teams. IMO, it's the most important element of this tournament. we are talking about millionaire superstars. they all have egos. imagine a team with MJ, kobe, lebron, magic, wilt, shaq, all in their primes. who's the damn leader? everybody would want to be the leader. who will take the last shot? will kobe be ok with MJ taking the last shot?

i did warn you about your team's potential fireworks. it's isiah's team with shaq being the #1 option. but what happens if isiah isn't happy with shaq's defensive effort? he ain't gonna let it go.
