What was everyone's stance on when David Stern vetoed the Chris Paul Lakers trade?

I don't even remember all the details of that. Why was it vetoed? The other owners weren't okay with it or something?

FWIW, as awful as he was on offense, I think people are forgetting that Rodman was an elite defender and rebounder. ELITE. To me, his career numbers don't show how he was maybe the best rebounder ever. IMO.
