I get that he’s stumping for his team, but I’m not sure he realizes how off he is on some of his comments. Take this one, for instance. . .

Hardaway, DeRozen, Robinson, Aldridge, KAT >> Frazier, Gervin, King, Love, Gilmore

Four of my guys are in the hall of fame. Two guys (Frazier and Gilmore) were elite defenders and two guys (Gervin and King) were elite scorers in their day.

George Gervin is better than anyone on his bench and one of his starters.

The “Iceman” is a 4x NBA scoring champion - the only guys with as many or more are Michael Jordan 10x, Wilt Chamberlain 7x, Allen Iverson 4x, and Kevin Durant 4x.

Gervin and Maravich were two of the best shooters/scorers before the advent and value of the three point line was established. Both guys absolutely would have thrived in modern offenses.
