Bosh has never been a good 3 point shooter. He didn't really shoot enough to be considered a 3 point shooter until his last two seasons when he shot a pedestrian 36%.

Career best was 40%... not too bad. I only need him hitting from the corners anyway.

It is pretty silly to start him. He isn't a top ten SG currently let alone a top 16 or even 32 sg all time.

Also as a Jazz fan no one should pick Korver. No player screwed Jazz over more than that selfish pos.

He fits the role I need filled. Spot up 3pt shooter who creates spacing letting CP3 do his thing in PnR's.

His best year was 54%, career 43.5%.

He shot 0.4 threes a game. Basically he shot just less then one every other game. Lol. So in a 7 game series he will shoot 3 three pointers. Brilliant!!

You start Korver and Bosh

No matter the outcome, great rookie effort by elan_prodigy with this comp. Had he replaced Simmons with a real PG who knows what the outcome would be.

Lol, nice try that was on 0.4 attempts per game. Also you cant mix and match stats based on the year you want. Do you want to have Chris Bosh from the year he shot .400 from three on 0.4 attempts when he was 23?

So you are taking Korver for the year he shot 54? He averaged 2.1 attempts that year and scored 7 ppg. Oh and by the way that season he quit shooting threes at the end of the season even when wide open to preserve his three point percentage record and cost the Jazz a shot at a top seed in the playoffs. So probably not the best year to pick for him.

That just reminds me how bad a coach Sloan was with certain players.

What happened with Korver? I must have missed that.
He stopped shooting threes even when wide open to preserve his three point percentage to ensure he set the record. Jazz were very close to a top 2 or 3 seed but slid down to 5th so they had to face the Lakers in the second round.

Many people guessed that was what he was doing and then Korver himself admitted to it there next year after he was gone. I am sure that is why Jazz didn't even pretend to be interested in bringing him back.

Damn, I missed that. Didn't Korver take out a full page ad when he left? I thought he LOVED Utah. Also why would he admit to something like that?

How could you have missed it? You weren't posting on JF then?

I did say career best. Its is true. I'm not saying hes a 40% career shooter...

I'm taking the Miami Chris Bosh...

It doesn't take away from his ability to knock down 3's. He shot 47.2% (5.5 attempts), 49.2% (6 attempts), 45.1% (5.4 attempts) over the past 4 seasons and 48.5% last season at 5.7 attempts.

Point is he is one of the BEST knock down shooters going around and again a perfect fit for my teams style of play.
