All-Time NBA Draft Round 1: Hack vs. Thee jazz fan

Who would win in a 7 game series?

He also said he wasn't sure about Durant starting... smh
At PF. Starter at Sf spot would be between him and worthy. That is close.

And yes top 5 player maybe... right now who has 1 playoff series loss is not in the same discussion as worthy. One day maybe not yet. Davis has proven nothing and won nothing. I think Davis if healthy will join elite company but is not yet elite or one of the greatest of all time.

Ah. Before you simply stated that you weren't sure about Durant starting. Concerns about him at the 4 are understandable.

Right now, who would you rather have, Durant or Davis?

There is a strong case that Davis is a better player to have on your team than Durant. Davis is elite both defensively and offensively. Durant isn't elite defensively. Just really elite offensively.

I think the Current NBA player rankings in the NBA is this.

1. Lebron
2. Curry
3. Davis
4. Durant.

I could even make a case for Curry number one, but that's because I'm such a huge fan of him. I think his shooting ability is about the coolest thing I've ever seen in basketball. But I also understand that due to his size, and he's not elite defensively, he might be closer to the 4th best. But I like him at 2. Davis is the next guy I'm taking.

Please tell me why that is so laughable.

Why isn't he in that conversation? You act like I just said Al Horford was better than Durant.

Is Davis not top5 in your mind? Would that not make him in the discussion and worth the debate?

Or are you overreacting like always?

Let's put it this way. If Durant had been healthy Davis would've been at home for the playoffs. There's LBJ then Durant then the rest of the NBA. Davis is special don't get me wrong but he's still young and not even in his prime yet. He has yet to play on a contender or show he can elevate his team yet. He is a special talent but he's no Durant. Is there anyone in the league today you'd rather give the ball to late in a game with it on the line? No.

Ya. I'd rather have Curry.

Curry has a ring from beating Lebron in the finals. Durant doesn't. Rings talk.

If Davis had Westbrook, Harden, and Ibaka, like Durant did, then I'm sure Davis could have gone to the finals too, even at this age. He's ahead of his years.

Only stating that Durant has more seasoning and has earned the right to be called great. Durant was where Davis is now. Davis is talented yes but Durant is an MVP and earned the right to be called great.

Plus with his elite guard skills and finishing skills and the fact that he can score from anywhere on the court. How would anyone stop him.

It's called shooting over the top and it's not like other stars haven't gotten over him before. Recall Malone shooting 15-15 or something crazy like that once. Bird has gotten over on him as well as big game James. Talks about it in the Pistons bad boys ESPN 30 for 30 show. So it's not like he's a for sure lock down defender every time.
