Man thats a good subject ill get to it when im not on a tablet, working out everyday lifting weights doesnt results in gains imho, I speak from experience from a coach who experimented on us for a month, we quit ball and just lifted everyday, everyone made gains after week two, another two weeks of solid hard weight room, only one person improved their max. He quit that idea and we got the ball back

I am. I have officially transitioned to being old though. Everyone tells me I have good technique and fundamentals when I play now. Old man baller.

I played and struggled to keep up with a couple of very good 16 year olds the other day here in Bangkok on my holiday. Nice young boys. They play for their schools though and were really good fundamentally.. but yeah I'm well past my prime as well (if there ever was one).

A whole ****ing month? Holy ****!
 
Yeah man you jump up on crates everyday and light weights to the extreme for a month, youll make gains but diminishing returns fast, we should have balanced lifting with playing the sport

One guy max actually decreased, our bodies were concentration camp tired

Your coach sounds like a ****ing idiot.
 
He got fired, we had a kid who was 6 10 at least thats what we listed him, coach called up texas at austin, they scouted us, got him a full ride to go play with tj ford, his last season we didnt break .500 so coached was fired. I guarded that dude in practice a lot, his elbows were killer. Basketball is very contact sport, but I got the best of him a few times ;)

Id see him on espn and smile, he tore both his knees and sat the bench in business casual. my cousin also played on the ut at austins womens team, she was the best 3 pt shooter on that team
