Barkley's gonna destroy whomever. Id probably have Davis check the longer, more finesse Gasol, and hang around to block shots when necessary. Silesians team has so much defensive versatility. If Barkley is killing them there's a lot of bodies that can be thrown his way. Not that Barkley won't get his, cuz he will.
Barkley is an inherent physical mismatch, but Silesians whole team is a physical mismatch. The disparity in size and athleticism is just too great overall imo. Siro's backcourt couldnt be more skilled as constructed, but I see them getting physically abused by anyone on the other end.
You could argue that Russell Westbrook is better than Robertson too. I know Oscar's stats, but if Westbrook played back then in that role w/ those minutes he would put up the same stats. Hell he might put up those kinds of stats this year.
The problem though if you have Davis guarding the center, he just going to get worked in the post. Davis doesnt have the defensive awareness to be good guard the paint effectively. The only area I really like his defense is weak side shot blocking and showing off picks. Everything else I think he shows average awareness, instincts, and effort.
And arguably the best two athletes on either team are on Siro's bench, Kemp and Westbrook.
I just think Curry and West being posted up and boarded over is more of an issue. If Siro goes to the bench with lots of Westbrook, which might be wise to get some more athleticism in the backcourt, it also means he might be having some issues dealing with team Silesian.
I'd actually would love to see the Westbrook & Curry backcourt in the starting lineup... Westbrook does most of the ball handling, but he demands a double team, and can always pass to a wide open Curry....

I love Chuck. I'm a Sixers fan from way back. He could not be stopped but certainly contained as he will be surrounded by long and elite D at 3-4-5.
I don't see Chuck containing AD, inside or out. He finally admitted a few years ago that he was not a very good defender. I never saw Barkley focus too much on that end and while his outstanding explosiveness overcame small size on the offensive end, it did not help him much on D. FWIW -- defense is why you take Mailman over Round Mound on alltime lists.
Would be a deadly combo. I would counter with Cheeks on Curry and Kawhi on Westbrook. (options of Havlicek/ Jones). Man I'd pay a lot of money to see that battle.
13-13 at the moment...
