White Chocolate's team defense is terrible and we will score extremely easily.

John Stockton - 5× NBA All-Defensive Second Team (1989, 1991–1992, 1995, 1997)

Julius Erving - ABA All-Defensive First Team (1976)

Bill Walton - 2× NBA All-Defensive First Team (1977–1978)

Ron Artest - NBA Defensive Player of the Year (2004), 2× All-Defensive First Team (2004, 2006), 2× All-Defensive Second Team (2003, 2009)

Willis Reed - NBA All-Defensive First Team (1970)

Stockton is better than Paul, but Robinson is better than Walton.

What would you say Stockton's best season was? Compare it to Paul's 08-09. Love Stockton as much as I love any basketball player and he was my inspiration to start playing, but looking at the stats there is no way to say he is clearly better than Paul.

Stockton averaged 15+ points, 13+ assists, and 2.5+ steals per game for like 10 years straight. And it isn't just about stats, I mean you're old enough to have seen Stockton play, correct? I'm surprised you think this is even a discussion. Stockton is better for sure.

Stockton is the GREATER player no doubt, but the BETTER? His longevity obviously crushes Paul, but better? I really don't think so... I'm a big fan of Stockton's 88-89 season so I'll use that, but feel free to plug in any season.

Base stat lines are:
Stockton- 17/14/3/3/0
Paul- 23/11/6/3/0

Per 100 possessions this turns to:
Stockton- 22/17/4/4/0
Paul- 32/16/8/4/0

Advanced stats Paul is miles ahead... And yet you say there's no debate?

Bahahahahahahahaha. Bro.

Stockton >>>>>>> Paul, and I'm voting against your team just because you're trying to make this ****ing case.

Eminence. You must stop. Take up another debate. Concede this battle. Save yourself for the war.

Maybe my perception is tainted by Stockton's greatness and longevity. I would have to look at the advanced analytics, and think of the different aspects of their game and the team context they were in. I'll do that later.
