Paul can't be considered better than Stockton right now. Stockton just has too many accolades and history on his side. That shouldn't be disputed.
BUT they are both the best point guards of their generations. That shouldn't really be disputed either. Right now we are comparing the entire career of an ALL TIME great point guard with the career of a great point guard who is still in his prime. For the purpose of this all time draft, should Stockton be considered better? Probably. But if Paul goes on a couple finals runs, are his accolades suddenly a lot more comparable? He's playing in a historically tough west, and in the east he has least made a couple conference finals.
When it's all said and done, Paul should be able to compare to Stockton. He has the talent to get near that level,or at least close. He just needs a little luck to get there. But we aren't looking at potential here, so it's a moot point anyhow xP.
