I was an intern at a Utah DA's office while in law school. The lady covering misdemeanors brought a case to the office screening meeting where all the attorneys discussed possible charges. A cop had ticketed a guy for using it under disturbing the peace or something. The lady attorney wasn't familiar with the stuff, and neither was anybody else there, and she wanted to try some type of terroristic charges or explosives charges.
Personally I love the stuff, but be careful where you use it because cops and DAs can be ignorant idiots. It is legal, but a stupid cop or concerned citizen can still cost you time defending yourself.
