Cool story, bro.

Short form, for your convenience: I want Deron back, but only at 1/2 to 2/3 his salary, which is the historical price range for championship-level point guards.

Since he won't return to Utah for that amount, a plenty adequate PG (not named Devin or Deron) can be had at that price--or more feasibly and economically, can be groomed or maybe drafted for far less.

TPE, anyone?
 
Deron isn't happy? Avery Johnson better polish up his resume. Which of the Nets players will be the first to get blasted for being the reason for the losing?

Watching the Daily Deron Moody Meter from afar makes me more glad that KOC, Greg & Mamma dealt him. Go Jazz.
 
You guys crack me up. The DW hate on this board isn't shocking but I find it funny as hell. Where are you getting that DW is unhappy with Avery Johnson? Don't you know the Jazz have a player who didn't get along with AJ so it isn't a big deal if he was upset with AJ. I haven't heard anything about this so is this just another imaginary idea that DW haters have made up ( like the AK and DW hate each other or DW forced Sloan to retire). Get over the fact that DW isn't here anymore, he got TRADED so the Jazz could get something for him if he decided to leave in FREE agency. KOC made a smart move but it isn't because DW sucks or dominates the ball. 23 pts. 8 rebounds and 8 assists and getting the win is what matters.

Now before you all call me a DW homer, I was upset initially with the trade but I see why the Jazz did it. However, I would have to be an idiot to think that DW isn't one of the top 3 PGs in the league. Regardless of how you feel about the guy he is talented. To say he could have handle last year better certainly has merit. I am sure the injury to his wrist had something to do with his mood. Many of you guys who criticize DW posted some of the same frustrations with the roster as DW mentioned. The Jazz were not getting any better and like many people he became frustrated. Does it excuse him from throwing the ball at Hayward. Absolutely NOT! However, the guy didn't murder any one, he was involved with the community and never said he wanted to be traded or that he hated Utah.

I watched 3 minutes of the nets game and can tell you they suck beyond measure and are broken beyond repair. They may as well forfeit the rest of the season. Losers.
