What's new

Another Game AGAIN Jazz @ Pimpslaps NEW HOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Time: who cares let it be over

Can be passing be tought/learned or do you have to be able to jump high and run fast to pass?

One day is passing, one day no boxing out, one day is lack of effort....every night a different critique.

Just mention me a single big man in the league that has a complete game! You begin all to be boring!

Because every night he plays like ****. There isn't a good coach in the league who plays players in roles and situations where they're completely overwhelmed. Kanter can't execute a simple hand-off.

Wish he would play more though..... its not like marv is an all star and key to our future

The problem with this, though, is that with Kanter in the game, the Jazz offense becomes incredibly rudimentary. How do the other four players develop when the only way to play when Kanter is in the game is to run pick and roll and Kanter post ups? Kanter is getting decent minutes right now. There's no guarantee he'd learn better or faster under Pop. There's no guarantee he hasn't learned to pass because of the Jazz coaching staff. He seems willing to learn. He just hasn't developed basketball IQ yet, and since he's making the same mistakes when he's in the game, minutes alone won't teach him.

Rush needs to pick it up. I know he's coming off surgeries but if he plays like this the rest of the year, this will be his last year in the NBA.

13 points, 12 rebounds and 2 blocks in 25 min is a **** game?!

Keep playing Evans over him and we will go very far...

Can you give me a play where Kanter has made an interior pass?

Jefferson made plenty of those. The one to Millsap and the bear hug after is one notable one.

Tonights game homie... kanter on the low block backin down his man, burks cuts to the hoop down the middle of the lane and kanter makes a very nice pass to alec for the easy layup

Kanter just needs tons of practice. His third year in the league and he's been part of one full training camp. Never practiced in his failed year with Kentucky. Practice time is hard to come by during the season. What they need to do is set him on the block in practice and run through double team scenarios. Run through cuts. Reset and drill them again and again. All you can do is play to his strengths now since there will be little practice. Unfortunately, his strengths over the long term of a game generally come at a detriment to the team, and more minutes isn't going to change that. Competent teams are just going to attack him with hard doubles, and all Kanter knows out to combat that is one or two scared back away dribbles and a hurried pass somewhere on the perimeter, whether it be to a covered man, open man, or open space as we saw on one of those fourth quarter doubles, which wasn't even a hard double, rather a show me double.

Do you have a time in the game? I didn't see it. Encouraging, especially if it was in traffic.

EDIT: 11:08 in fourth, according to play-by-play. His only assist of the night.

Yeah, it´s just about Kanter that some players are not able to score. I do not say that Kanter is a good passer, but what you are writing is ********. When they played against the Raptors or Bobcats with Kanter starting there was pretty good ball movement on the court.

Kanter looks stronger again after his surgery and he is rebounding and defending better the last few games. Kanter is a raw player, but what Kanter need is not more time at practice, he practiced for the last 4 years, Kanter needs time on the court. He just lacks ****ing playing time.

You're talking about last year, right?

Against the 4-16 Raptors and 13-45 Bobcats, right?

It was a nice pass..... but I'm in agreement that his is currently a poor passer
