I think he's a better man defender. I guarantee if you match up both guys on Aldridge and let them go 1 v 1 Al would do better defensively. The thing is you could run 100 PnRs in a row on Al and you'd beat him every time.

This is a bit of a leap, but this also occurred to me.
Please don't let it be.

I can still see an argument that we are one short on the wings (since I don't think anybody assumes we are getting anything from Murphy). I'm hoping for a Jefferson trade and a Danny Green acquisition. If we could trade Jefferson (2- or 3-team trade) and bring back Collison (who could really help our bench and add to our ability to drive), I'd be ecstatic.

Our roster is

Mo, Earl, Jamall
Hayward, Burks, Murphy
Marvin, Carroll
Favors, Millsap, Evans
Jefferson, Kanter

That's 13 players, 1 has to be on the inactive roster (probably Murphy). I could us adding an additional big man, but that is the only move I could see happening.

This is 95% joking around, but 5% real: Al + Paul + future pick for DH. In the scenario I've dreamed up where we get Dwight (albeit for 1 year) we got him because Orlando wanted a decent haul, but more than anything they wanted to spite Dwight and send him to the last place he'd want to go.
