No thanks. But I hope they do and continue to build a good team.

I want to see the Suns, Wolves and Pelicans join the Jazz as the new power house teams of the West. Time for the old guard of teams like the Spurs and Mavs to die off. Would like to see the Rockets and Clips join them in obcurity.

Bennett is a weird case. I don't necessarily think he's the Bust he's been made out to be. I see a lot of untapped potential there. He's been handled weird by the Cavs and Wolves. He hasn't got much of a chance.
 
He makes $6 M a year which means he'd take up most of our available cap space. I think he still has a chance to be good. He'd likely need to be our 3rd big at that price which means we would be taking a step back.

Last year this would have been a good gamble, but not sure it'd be a great move now. He was dead last in RPM for PFs... that is bad.

This is what would give me some hope if we acquired him... I believe both teams use him like a small forward when he should be a face up, playmaking 4. Quin may be able to fix him.
 
His contract is a total albatross, probably too much to look past. If the Jazz really wanted to make a statement about player development you couldn't find a better target.
