What a fat ***#

We would be doing a great service for a team that is likely to start to make the jump to the next level at the same time that we would be. Bennett is overweight, suffers from NBA depression because of the splinter from the pine that he has up his nalgas, and he has less potential than people would like to think he would. Just because the Cavs made a dumb pick at number #1 doesn't mean that he is good.
In spite of this, we need a stretch 4 in a big way and Dr. Quin, Medicine Man could potentially cure what ails Bennett. If we were to get him, we would need to rob them blind. AKA, our #54 second round pick in this draft plus a few non guaranteed contracts for Bennett. The Wolves trade a $6 million bust contract for cap flexibility and a roster spot. The alternative is that the Jazz trade an actual asset for the washed up nuts and bolts (ie Trey) but we would need Bennett and the #1 Wolves pick for 2016. Bennett is not an asset at this point. He is an expensive, failing project. So trading an asset for him without getting an asset back is paying someone for the junk in their trunk. Not going to happen without an asset in return.
I like Burke, but think his best value is as an asset now. With that said. . . this is not how the Jazz should cash in that chip. Trey Burke still has more value than we fans want to give him.I love how people want to trade Trey Burke for the biggest#1 bust in history. Yuck. Burke has to shoot better but at least he is semi productive.

Hack just never gives up on the guys he likes before the draft does he? It's ok Hack. Ya missed on this one let it go.
I think people give up on players way too fast.
The Cavs never should have drafted him number 1 overall. He's isn't number 1 material. But he can still be good. They didn't try to develop him at all. Then the Twolves were even worse with him. Flip Saunders is a moron. He openly states and believes 3 pointers aren't good shots. That should tell you all you need to know about his abilities as an evaluator.
I hate to say this and is tasting awful on my tongue but I am with Hack on this one. Bennett has potential and I think QS can get it out of him. The Jazz would probably have to trade Booker to get him though and that would make me sad.

The TWovles are publicly trying to move the No. 1 pick in the 2013 draft and his 5 ppg average.
Burke for Bennett?
You can't have given up on Burke and want Bennett at the same time. So I don't.
I think you can trade them because while they might be identical in concept (two players who could blossom) but different in what the result is when they blossom - and not in their magnitude of blossom - but their type of contribution.
I don't know anything about Bennett (other than he's fat as I saw from the posted pics) but from my very sophisticated analysis, the unknown that is Bennett looks a lot greener than the grass that is on this side in Burke... So trade 'em!!!!
