Any chance Jeremy Evans starts?

I like how Bean tries to defend whether Evans may start with the argument that he may have played 'some' SF. lol

Or you could use your brain and factor in other things:

-Evans has shown he can hit an outside jumper consistently

-Marvin Williams and Rush are injured and Jefferson sucks

-Evans deserves minutes but he won't get any as a 3rd string PF

-Evans has no post up game

-WE ARE TANKING

No matter what you say Evans will get playing time this year at the SF position. He had a great summer league. He is the longest tendered Jazz man on the team. Not to mention ESPN has him listed as a SF.

So to say Evans starting as a SF is "laughable" is very much and overreaction. The Jazz are tanking hard and I want to watch Evans play, and I think other fans do too.

Playing his pal Evans will win them some points with Hayward as well, who they probably hope signs their "reasonable" extension rather than testing restricted free agency.

Is Hayward so vain to allow his bud getting time to effect his performance and his happiness on the team? Maybe he isn't the future.......

This is the Millsap at SF argument all over again. Could Evans play some SF? probably. Does he have the skills to be one? Not really. The only difference is Millsap was a far better shooter. Giving him one skill a SF needs more than Evans has shown.

1. No he hasn't
2. Rush is supposed to be ready for camp.
3. Not really. He has done nothing to earn those minutes.
4. Part of the reason he does not deserve minutes.
5. The Jazz are not tanking per ce. They will not play Evans just to lose games. He will still need to show that he deserves those minutes regardless of the FO strategy.
