Anyone else feeling "weird" about this team and/or season?

We will shock the world/city of Utah. Remember this post.

Fixed for all the out of stat...er city bandwagonners we are destined to get when we storm the league!!

I feel like this season will go as Trey Burke goes. If he plays more like he did most of the pre-season, the Jazz will surprise a lot of people. If he plays close to like he did tonight (which was eerily similar to the guy we saw last year), they will probably come in about where Vegas said they would.

Yeah same here we have a good group of guys, this is truly where the future begins.
I wished we kept Dahntey Jones though. he could be a mentor and not take up alot of minutes.
but no doubt this group feels good. new coach that has the art of war.

I am excited and hopeful. I hope people aren't setting their expectations too high because the crash might get ugly. I know the preseason has gone better than expected but rarely does a team take a significant jump like some are "feeling". I think the Jazz are going to be better and more competitive but they have to significantly improve their defense if they are going to shock the world.

I have been cautiously optimistic all pre season. Simply because I don't want to get any high hopes for when the regular season starts and teams become more difficult to play against. Watching last nights game confirmed to me that although the Jazz will be better, they will also struggle at times. Still significantly better than last year though

I was up to predicting 37 wins. I think I'm back down a bit to 33.

I'm optimistic, but the koolaide is wearing off a bit.

I am very excited about the Jazz this year. I've followed them since the old Stockton/Malone era, and I was at the game when Malone ripped open Isiah Thomas' face with a Malone-force elbow. That had to hurt. Anyway, I'm semi-new to Jazzfanz, a long-time lurker who was a previous member before the board crashed a few years back. It's good to see the optimism on the board. Go Jazz!
