We are thinking of taking a job in St. George. We like visiting there, but any locals wanna give up any pros and cons?

Thanks much.

Pros - I live here.
Cons - Zulu lives here.

Pros - fantastic outdoor living with millions of acres of public lands to explore.
Cons - foodies need not apply.

Pros - warm winters
Cons - blistering summers

Mind me asking who's hiring? You're a dentist or smth right?

If we have access to a pool, can you use them in the summer? Or is it too hot?

My kids swim everyday. Definitely not too hot to swim. Also you can hike and run, etc.. But just have to do it before about 9:30am.

Gotcha. My whole family and almost all my friends have multiple teeth, fwiw.

I'm impressed seeing how you are from Kentucky.

Bad dentist joke time:

How do you know the tooth brush was invented in Kentucky?

If it was invented anywhere else, it would be called a teeth brush.

Bwahahahahahahahahahaha.

I kill myself.

Thanks a ton For the help.

Fish and Cy - I am a Ute fan, so have to expect some questions like that. I didn't go to school for learned and stuff.

If you can find a job in St George and get over the heat, it seems like a great place to live. Since you already have work in line there, you just have to reconcile baking for the entire summer.

I don't know what's worse though. I am building a home in teton valley idaho, where it is colder than an Eskimos toenails for like 100 days a year. For me, I would rather have cold than hot, but I guess you just get used to wherever you live anyways.

Nah, not really. The whole city is pretty nice almost 0 crime.
There's some trailer parks on Dixie Downs Rd to maybe avoid, but that's about it.

Dude, I was going to come with the Dixie Downs smack. Been that way for more than 30 years!
