It's not strange, they want to keep the sponsors as far away from the actual basketball product being produced by the Jazz as possible... send 'em to a remote island and hopefully they'll keep tossing their money in the pile.
I know that when the Jazz had that 5 or 6 day travel package they kept advertising (Cancoon?) that Randy Rigby told 1320 KFAN that he was in Hawaii with a group of Jazz sponsors and I think 100 club members.
