Why are you assuming Neto plays for the Jazz this year (and that's without even approaching whether he's ready or not)?
I was referring to the line up for the next 2-3 years.
Fine, if we can get Marshall cheaply (x2 second round picks?). Any more than that then I'd pass and wait for Neto next year.
I'm not sure what the Suns would be willing to give him up for, and I'm not sure where exactly I'd draw the line on what I'd give up for him and what I wouldn't, but the discussion started here:
Given that, I'm not sure what you're arguing against. Additionally, the Jazz could trade him next summer or mid-season, or really whenever they wanted to. They don't have to commit to him.
Well I'm going off of "what the Suns would realistically want" rather than "what JazzFanz posters are willing to give up for him".
Being realistic, why do you think that Neto is going to be playing for the Jazz this year?
No no, I didn't say he'll be playing this year, I just said Burke, Neto, Tinsley is a good lineup going forward (barring this year of course, as everyone knows Neto won't be coming over). That's really a moot point at this stage.

On a separate topic all together, I don't think Suns would be willing to give up on Marshall who they picked #13 overall I believe? Definitely not for x1 or even x2 second round picks.

I'd rather start Burke, have Burks back him up and cover some of the PG minutes this season. They can bring back Tinsley as long as they don't start him. Other than that, I only want D-League guys or cheap cast-offs. Don't give up any assets right now and don't take minutes away from the Young Guns. That should be the approach across the board. Stay out of free agency and only look to make a home run pickup if it comes along.

the suns are going to sell Marshall for 50 cents on the dollar. if he was so good why did they go sign dragic. if he was so good why did they just trade for Bledsoe.
they will not get a 1st for a 3rd strng pg. when he has played he hasn't done anything wonderful. Marshall is a half court player not a run and gun. I think given a year could be a valuable RESERVE for the jazz. you don't give away a lot for a reserve.
1 second maybe 2 and I would hang up the phone if the suns asked for more.
Wait, you think Tinsley is going to be around and good to keep around in three years?
Give them a 2014 first top 28 protected
