From what I've seen there isn't a whole lot of "asking legit questions and expressing our legit concerns". There is a lot of complaining, attempts at arguments, and very little in the way of even attempting to understand the explanations that are given. It appears to me that no matter the explanation or answer, there will be complaining, whining, accusations, and passive or non passive aggressiveness from a few posters. It's pointless to try to reason with those that have just proven they don't want to reason.

The real explanation and almost play by play is out there posted but I can't help you if you refuse to see it.

I got the response. Let's see if my summary is accurate?

The thread in question got a lot of reports. It was a PITA to deal with all the reports. Some of the content was borderline. The mods have not indicated what causes one submission to be borderline, one to be acceptable and one to be inappropriate. What they do is close the thread.

There was a secret vote amongst an undisclosed number of mods that was unanimous. End of story. No further details need be discussed.

When people are unhappy the mods insult them and make threats.

Did I miss anything?
 
I wouldn't have expected this level of crackdown in any scenario short of Hantlers taking a primary seat amongst the moderators. Some serious literalism happening with them right now.
 
Moe made it clear everyone that no level of dissent will be allowed. Please stop expressing your disagreement. They will close threads and fract for disagreement. After insulting and demeaning people.

After all what good are rules if they apply to everyone?
 
JazzFanz rules you accept when you post here.

Read these rules again.
If you can't, pay someone to read it to you.
If you can't afford that, have your old man read them to you.
If you don't have an old man, find a drunk and ask him to read it and explain it to you because I can guarantee you that there isn't a bum on the street that understands less of the rules than you raggedy and ridiculous posters do now.

the only way the mods can "win" a true Arms Race would be to start banning people AND blocking new profiles. That would certainly be bad for the site, so it's probably not a "win".

I do know that this crap is making me wish someone goes all HH in here and porn bombs the hell out of it. Just wait for Sunday, I suppose.

Not true. I have seen posts by mods that are sincere and honest.

But if you feel unfairly treated let's resolve it.

Okay, I guess I'll take a break from Jazzfanz. The snarky dick head tone that has been coming from the mods is pretty aggravating.

Maybe all of us are wrong and the Mods are right?
