Are the Players Quitting on Corbin?

On a slightly more serious note, this team is full of nice guys, I'd like to see some fire, some fight, some outrage somewhere.

The Jazz PR machine has taken correctness into hyper-mode. It's like they're trying to coach the personality out of everyone in the organization. No one is allowed to show the slightest hint of human emotion. None.

After years of fast tempers and cutting words from the owner, the coach and the star player. That is a whole lot of void to fill. Jazz searching for identity, fans searching for a something to relate to.

Nonsense. Hayward isn't a quitter.

I don't think Hayward has quit on himself (he still wants to get paid obviously) but I think that he is playing for his next contract more than he is playing for ty corbin.

These players love Corbin and respect him as much as possible for the way he's developed each one of them. Why would anyone make up this kind of nonsense drama? Some y'all live in a different world than the rest of us.
Enjoy your world. That you live in yourself. The rest of us see a team that got their asses handed to them by the worst team in the league and again showed little effort and energy against Washington.

Problem is the team succeeded because of the fire those guys had. Now we have a robot as a coach, An owner who is absent and emotionless, and our players have little to no emotion on the floor. Only player I've seen any fire from this season is Marvin.
.
We should get Cousins just to show these players how to have emotion. J/K he has too much uncontrolled emotion.

Gail likes things on teh DL, nah mean?

On the Dennis Lindsey? Are you saying he was hired because he was willing to sexual favors?

See mellow, stoked, I can do it too.

I think a more appropriate question is "when did the players quit on Ty". Hey, at least we're tanking and losing so not all is bad. I just wish we would have promoted Horny last year. What a mistake.

What's he doing that makes you think this?

mostly i have just noticed him getting frustrated with corbin when he comes out of the game.....i have seen a couple of times when hayward headed to the bench and corbin tried to talk to him and hayward just blew him off and wouldnt talk to him.

Maybe its just general frustration for hayward overall though

Which games? Was Corbin trying to boost his confidence with a quick pep-talk or was he trying to lecture him? Corbin never calls these guys out in press releases and only ever talks about them improving. Seems out of character to not be doing the same on the sidelines. "Hayward, keep your head up and work through it. You'll get better; it's only one game."

Last game ty came to mid court to talk to Hayward, and Hayward just kept walking to the bench.

Being in a losing culture wears you down. I'm not surprised at all that they quit on Corbin. I think they are fed up with the lack of a system and little development

How do you know what he says to the players during the games -- are you on the bench?

Are the players quitting on Ty? After last night I'd say they are quitting on Ty or on the season.

You don't get blown out by the Cavs, Bucks, Wizards, and Knicks without internal discontent.

Either the players are fighting with each other or they're fighting with Ty. The way they win against Ty? By making sure he doesn't come back.

I'm pretty sure they've quit on Ty.

Last night's Knicks game had the same stench as the Chicago Bulls game a few years back. Bad vibes, no effort, a coach ready to go, players tired of the coach, and an entire team non-responsive to the coach.

This is good news. No way Corbin makes it past this season. Jazz will HAVE to splurge on a high impact/profile coach to redeem themselves for the mess of the past three years. Corbin was likely one of the lowest paid coaches during this stretch. Mauler family need to step up if they want to fill those seats again.

Hollins.

Tough, hard nosed, good coach.

If he can turn Favors and Kanter into a better version of Gasol and Zbo, ill be very happy.

This roster right now has twice as much talent as any of his Memphis teams.
