Are we going to be an "elite team" by Philbert Jackson's definition?

The Colonel always says you're not elite unless you win 40 games before you lose 20. The Jazz have to go at least 15-6 in the next 21 games to do that. I think we can, but we'll have to play better.

As far as simplistic reasoning goes, that's a pretty good one.

And I don't know. I'm pretty astonished the Jazz have as good a record as they do considering you can't count on them to score or rebound with any kind of reliability and they bury themselves in the first quarter.

Elite? Holy ****, we have trouble getting past the first round of the playoffs and we wanna know if we are going to be an elite team? C'mon. Nothing's changed in four years. Sure, the parts are different but we know exactly where this roller coaster of a ride is taking us.

Maybe that's why I put "elite team" in quotes, and explained what Phil uses to define it.
