Are you rooting for the playoffs this season?

  • Yes, we need to build winning culture.

  • No, we need another lottery talent.

  • Indifferent, not following until we start winning.

If they feature Collier/Keyonte/WCJ, Ace/Cody, Hendricks/Flip and Kessler. . . and then still manage to make the playoffs?

I’m fine with that.

Ideally, I’d like to see the young guys show some growth and prove they’re legit NBA talents. I just don’t want this team playing Anderson, Minivan, Love and Nurkic at the expense of the young guys development and then winning more than they should. If that was the plan, they should’ve just kept Collins and Sexton for the year.

Think about it. If the Jazz are first five picks, it means that our young players are crap and that Ace played like an inexperienced rookie. That's bad news for the team. If our youth are talented like we think they are, the pick falls down to 7-10 right? while that is a solid pick and we could get a talented player, there's no guarantee that that is going to net us a star, and if the players think we are tanking to keep the pick they lose confidence; not in themselves, but in the team's winning culture. Add to that that it is possible to fall in the lottery and lose the pick anyway. My point is that losing a late lottery pick isn't a big deal, whereas developing our talent is. (example. how Awful would it be to lose Cody? Yawn.) ((sorry Cody, prove me wrong))

I'm always rooting for winning. But if the record after 50 games is not such that they'd be likely to make top 6, tank hard. Very unlikely scenario though. Probably it's gonna be a steady season of 3-7 kind of ten game sets with all the inexperience and defensive woes in the backcourt.

I'm not voting because these are terrible options.

Like said above I'm cheering for a fun season and for good basketball.

If we don't make the playoffs it's definitely expected and is fine as long as some of our youth looks legit. If for some miracle we make the playoffs that would be really awesome and means our players made huge jumps.

We all want to watch fun basketball, that’s beside the point.

Let’s say the game was good, young guys got minutes, final seconds, do you want them to make the winning shot?

Knowing the more wins we get the less chance of a decent pick?

Ace could be ROY and we can still get a top 5 pick. Those 2 things aren’t exclusive of one another.
