If I was the new owner of the jazz id be having meetings with my people about 1 thing today. How is that we turned the 23rd pick into no. 27 and 38 and the knicks turned 23 into 25 and 33.? The incompetent knick organization made us look stupid.

It's probably because the Jazz traded the pick way too soon. If they had done it during the actual draft, they would've reeled it better offers from desperate teams eyeing certain players.

Exactly, but that's a risk. Do we really think the Jazz draft different with 25 and 33 though?

Probably not, they already had their gameplay and were gonna stick to it.

My only question is if they would have taken the falling RJ Hampton.

Seems like the Jazz really want to maximize now though and part of that was upgrading Tony Bradley.
