I see that as jazz fans, we are trying to find responsible people to blame on with the current situation instead of hoping for a better future. Well its our right to blame on somebody, but not somebody inside the franchise, if we are to blame someone, we should rather blame on Deron or Boozer, not KOC or Corbin.

i think ty corbin and KOC dont deserve to be blamed for anythng
Ty is just new, and what he is supposed to do in a collapsing empire? He cant save it by himself, we will wait and see at least 2 years how good coach he is. I dont think he will be another sloan but he wont be that bad.

And for KOC i dont see any reason to be blamed on. He did well with the hayward pick, he picked the guy with best potential and basketball iq he can, he did well with the deron williams trade, at least we got something and took risk in a different way (young players) instead of taking risk as to be successful for keeping deron at hand at the end of 2 years. We could end up getting nothing after deron leaves and be in the same situation as Cavs. Right now if we win the lottery, everythng may be reversed, and we can build a team better than what we were all those 3 years, without losing much time.

And i disagree with many people who criticize KOC about matthews issue.
He is getting 6 a year, and raja bell around 3. Yeah he deserves the 6 while raja doesnt, but at the beginning of the year who would guess he will perform so good this year while raja will suck ?
And we dont know whether to keep korver or not is the decision made by KOC or Greg miller?

I think our roster is better than last year, at least would be so without the absence of korver, and mabe if memo wasnt injured whole year, we wouldnt miss korver that badly as well. Just **** happens and we are in this situation right now. But its not because of the roster, its because unexpected events happened consecutively, or maybe it was like this;
this problem between deron and sloan had to occur, deron compressed his feelings for a couple of yrs and at some point, with the team not going well and a couple of other reasons he just bursted. We can see that Sloan is a very strict and disciplined guy while deron never accepts to be in control of anybody else. We can understand this from his body language and even he started putting headband in NJ like a reaction to his compressed and restricted actions by Sloan. Deron may get a ring in future, but not with a coach like Sloan but Phil jackson who can control players egos so well.

It was clear that Deron & Boozer era will go nowhere after they explicitly accused Kirilenko after the loss to Spurs as they wouldnt lose, if Kirilenko didnt miss the practise (which he had a visa problem and he had to miss).

Boozer was a complete ********, he never thought about the team, he always made some numbers but he had so many flaws that couldnt be seen in the statistics.
Deron, as much as we all loved him as a franchise player, i had so many questions about his leadership.

You cant accuse your teammates explicitly, you cant humiliate a rookie which has a high potential in the first game of the year, you cant give up defense depending on your mood, the defense starts from the star players.

So as we all witnessed, we could be a good team with deron but he wasnt the answer to take us to the top and now he is gone, i wish him the best but i wish more than that for Utah Jazz
Maybe we still wont get any ring in the next 5-10 yrs, but at least we have some draft picks and couple of young talents to build around. At least things arent fallen from the beginning, at least we have some hope...

Well, some people, apparently. Matthews aside, it doesn't take much of a Nostradamus to see what happens when you pick up a dude whose last stint was with the Globetrotters.

No point crying about it I suppose.. now KOC has to redeem himself and swap Harris for Matthews like someone else in this forum had suggested..

The only problem I have is why he didn't get a team option for one or two years from someone who wasn't even drafted. That should be standard with that type of player. "Hey, we'll give a shot, but we want 3 years out of you if you pan out."

Get over it, We don't have him anymore. Maybe we can draft a PG and then try and trade Harris to Portland for Matthews but is he really that special? And when Mr. Oconnor sign Matthews to that year contract. We didn't think that he was going to play. We had Price, Korver, Brewer, Miles and Ak for the 2-3 spot.

Plus we now have Hayward who will have a better career then Matthews and Miles is coming into his own. And once we add H. Barns. Utah will have a lot of excitement coming from the 2-3 spot with legit size. 6ft6 plus

Wouldn't you much rather have A. Affalo with our Mid Level Exception (if it still exist) or draft Harrison Barns, Perry Jones, Hamilton, rather then trade for Matthews? I would!!
