At what point is it time to get off Trey Burke's !~@#$#

While I REALLY don't like Trey's parents Twitter posts and I have been critical of Trey's play in the past. It may be that Trey is not the bust that JazzFanz paints him out to be.

He has shown up just about every game so far this season. Tonight he had a very efficient game shooting and some REBs, a steal... Still not an assist man but he can't be everything and we need to appreciate the contributions that he is making.

If we can just cancel his parents Twitter account now...

I don't trust his good games because he's always been so streaky as a shooter (a lot of decent games mixed in with a few good ones and too many 1-13 performances), but he was great tonight. Obviously, not always going to hit 6-8 threes, but I liked the shots he was taking and he looked confident.

Here's something to watch for. Trey never shot over 41% for a full calendar month in his career. If he can finish November around 43% it's safe to say we have an improved player on our hands. He's off to a great start, but one of his infamous 2-16 games could tank his chances.

It's time. All things considered there's no reason to run him out of town, a marginal upgrade isn't an upgrade at all considering his age and restricted deal - he just needed to show improvement and mid 40's from the field is plenty.

When he plays consistently well. Which he's been doing more of lately which is awesome.

Burke is absolutely vital for Burks/Hayward since Hood hasn't been able to find his spot up shot.

The key to his success will be if he's figured out to defer when necessary. He's done a great job of that so far.
