Game Thread Aug 07, 2020: Utah Jazz vs San Antonio Spurs

Pretty sure they got the same exact wingspan.

Doesn't seems hard to see who has much better footwork, bbiq and capacity of absorbing contact between them to make their arms a tool to contest shots instead of a pair of invitations to the ft line.

The only rational explanation is just that Quin knows Oni and Brantley are good so he doesn't want anyone to get any tape on them... then the playoffs come and he unleashes hell on teh NBAs

Oni and Brantley looked playable on the wing. Tucker is too unpredictable. He's mostly a hustle player right now.

Morgan is small at the 5 and underskilled at the 4. He's a situational backup big.
Nailed it on all 4 guys.
Tucker just seems to me to have a poor feel for the game. Love his size and athleticism though.

Niang's minutes need to be reduced until he finds his shot which he will and he needs to play all of his minutes with Rudy but I am against cutting all of his minutes. Let him chuck some shots till playoffs so he can come out of his slump.
I don't really care if he finds his shot. He doesn't rebound, defend, get to the line, handle the ball, set up teammates....... His three point shooting, even when on, isn't enough imo.

Tucker is a perfect guy for end of the bench scout team work and practices. Not sure he’ll ever become a contributor. He does have athletic potential.
I thought Brantley looked pretty good. Want to see more from him and Oni.

While I’m still on the subject of Bolomboy, and not that I hate Niang. I like him but how did Niang stick where Bolomboy didn’t. He would’ve made a nice backup for Gobert.
