LOL - my wife made a similar comment while watching me run in them on a treadmill at the gym.

I'm very lucky I get to wear bball shorts all day long. Have to be long to cover the garmz. Have to have deep pockets for keys. Need to match maroon, black, and grey usually but not always.
As far as brands I haven't really found anything that didn't last for awhile. I'm sure there are some bad brands but I've yet to run into them.

Since I refuse to wear anything associated with Nike, I was forced to buy "And 1" shorts. At 6'3" 240+, I need 'em long and strong. I like the "And 1" brand, they last, and they're not too expensive. The hard part is picking the stitching to remove all of their gay-*** logos. Ya, I'm like the guy who buys an old piece of **** Civic, takes off any/all markers, decals, or symbols, adds a three-toned body kit and 4 donut tires. Boo ya. If the shorts aren't at least two inches below the knee, they're way too short. Like others, I'm in ball shorts 80% of my life.
