I'm certainly no hip hop expert, but within that realm, BB and RUN DMC are apples and oranges.
 
Favorite album is Paul's Boutique, but I played Check Your Head over and over on the old walkman sport. Auto-reverse was in full effect in the summer of '92.

Starting to actually listen to BB albums in full. Pretty good stuff. Never really looked into them too much besides the singles.
