Do we think Trump and the GOP will be less extreme or more extreme over the next four years? Do you think our economy will be better or worse over the next four years as we isolate ourselves from our allies and continue our assault on education, science, and expertise? Do you think corruption will be more or less over the next four years? Think our society will be more empathetic and stable or less over the next four years? Will we see more or less disease and death over the next four years?
Interesting questions, especially for those who have opportunities to live and work elsewhere.

I see a few roads. Maybe all of them.
Democratic-socialist revolution. Lead by Bernie, we set things right. The way it should’ve been for all of us. Unite the sides and we fight together against Christo-fascists. We storm the Capitol and take our country back.
We get deep into the “transition”. The poor get completely squeezed out, lower middle class the same. Middle class collapses and we have hungry people in the streets with nothing to lose. Protect yourselves and your loved ones. Hope you’re armed and prepared.

The funniest thing about your posting this idea is that I know you are naïve to it. You don't recognize it. They scooped the core out so you wouldn't immediately reject it.

Wage growth persisted through times of high inflation and low inflation, through the Gilded Age when wealth inequality was through the roof, and times of lower wealth inequality, through times of high national debt and low national debt, high tax rates and low tax rates, booms and recessions. Wage growth persisted through slavery, ending slavery, war, cold war, peace, republican, and democrat majorities. The video makes a reference to credit cards, but those were invented in 1950 and only 2% of households had a credit card in 1970. It wasn't credit cards. So, what was it about that year your video builds its whole center around, but neglects to clearly explain. Why 1970?
I know why, because this idea has been around, and in those other explainers they don't neglect to say exactly what happened to so radically change the landscape, and which now according to you is leading to revolution. What happened in 1970?

I dunno.
Like I like the idea that health care should be universal, the rich should pay more in taxes, bribery in our political system needs to be ended, and America should be the land of opportunity but socialism, Democrats don’t have thee most perfectist candidate, and black immigrants eat dogs. Besides, I too can be a billionaire if only we’d deport all the brown people and cut foods stamps for single moms and drink raw milk.

The right thinks it’s fun and games right now. But AOC certainly has appeal. Let’s see if they’re still laughing when President AOC is inaugurated with all the powers they’ve given Trump. The last two months have taught me that legislation doesn’t need to be passed (congress and judges can just be ignored), it just needs to be declared. Universal health care, ban assault weapons, and huge tax increases on the rich? Just issue an executive order. Done! /s (sort of)
I’m glad AOC and Bernie are out there fighting with a popular message.
