Best undrafted free agents...

Bryce Cotton. While we don't NEED a PG right now, if Neto stays overseas, Cotton's an upgrade over Garrett.

I like this idea, Cottons like a mini version of Shabazz Napier, with hops.

Sacramento tested him to have a 46" vertical...

Is it just me or does it seem there are a lot of good players undrafted? Good players as in NBA quality

Not just you. Dennis Lindsey touched on this weeks ago. It was one of the reasons they brought in so many prospects. In fact, he said the Jazz could throw a little bit of guaranteed money their way to get them to sign with Utah.

Does it make any sense to dump the world`s theoretically 35th best prospect like we did and then sign undrafted players? It isn`t like #35 would command a massive guaranteed salary, either.

In fact, the contract would be entirely non-guaranteed. Lindsey screwed up on this one.

How about Ryan Watkins. Undersized for a 4 but average a double double last year and is the grandson of Billy the Hill McGill of U of Utah fame.

No thx. Theres players that some have graded as draftable to be dealt with first.

Id rather have Patric Young or McAdoo than that guy, and I'm not a fan of either of those players really.

Khem Birch is 6'9 with long arms, runs like the wind, and shows great anticipation blocking shots, is good on both the offensive and defensive boards, and he shoots 70% freethrows. That doesnt sound like much of a gamble for an Undrafted FA agent, Ryan Watkins on the otherhand...

Bhullar would give Jazz
India
Australia
France
Turkey
Brazil- if Neto
Pretty good start

Bhullar is Canadian.

I'd find Kendall Williams more intriguing if the Jazz didn't already have Burke, Exum, and Neto.

I'd say Huestis if he hadn't been ultra-reached on. Or I don't know, maybe he wasn't. I like(d) him a lot.

Niels Giffey interests me.

Do the Jazz know they're fielding a summer league team and they don't have to wait until the Orlando league is done to invite players?
Went over to HoopsHype and scrolled down through the list of who is going where. Not a mention of the Jazz signing anyone.

Well most of the top UDFA guys have committed to SL teams. My top 2 UDFA's Artem Klimenko and Ioannis Papapetrou dont seem to have much written about them though.

Papapetrou is going into the 2nd year of a 5 year reportedly worth about 2 mil with the Olympiakos. I really like this kids progression(you'd think he was older), hes a great shooter and has really worked on his body. Ioannis claims to have put on 40 lbs in 3 months.. (from about 185 to 225 i presume)

Hes a set shooter, a specialist type, High BBIQ, High Skill level, he can finish but isn't a creator at-all.

Reminds me a bit of an Omri Casspi or Steve Novak type. He has more of an all around game than those players though.
