Better to Start - Ingles or Hood?

Ingles is playing so GREAT right now. I love his D. He led the team in assists tonight.

Would it be better for Hood to come off the bench and keep Ingles starting?

Nope.

Hood offers too much the other way... his mid range and ability to post up smaller defenders and shoot over them with be invaluable come playoff time. I think Hood works his way back into the starting line up (which could take a few weeks) because history shows he gets pretty cold when injured or coming back from injury. Quin will have a very short leash if/when Ingles is on the bench.

Also, nobody gets as WET as Rodney when they are on.

Hood, but he should be first one out so he can lead the 2nd unit. Sub him out at 6 mins and rest him through the quarter break.

I say Ingles. His passing and defense create many opportunities with the superior first unit. I think Burks and Hood off the bench would be lethal.

It's a good question, I would side with Hood though. He brings a level of offensive aggressiveness that we lack sometimes depending on what approach Hayward is taking.

INGLES was not this good last year.....lets see if he keeps this pace up. Happy to see em doing this well....love his game.

One game in every .... how many games ?? I love his game but atm statistically he's just an average NBA SG and his %'s haven't improved thru his 3 years. I really hope he's healthy for a long stretch so we can see whether he's better than his numbers say so far & whether he can get more consistent.

Its only his 3rd year so he is still developing that consistency... and he's had a few interruptions this year already so that doesn't help.

He does go cold from 3 but his mid range jumper is exceptional, especially when he gets into the lane. I think its Quin's instructions/system that has him shooting so many 3's, Quin hates it when they turn an open look down, just let it fly.

I also think he has been focusing on his defense a lot more this year, I think he has been much better and can see him focusing in on D during the game.

Either way IMO if Ingles isn't wide open there is a fair chance it isn't going in. Whereas Hood can create his own shot and knock them down with a hand in his face. At the pointy end of the season i'll be hoping for a WET Rodney Hood over the D/bball IQ Joe brings.
