Beverley to Lakers for THT and Stanley Johnson

Finishing and foul drawing. If he could do those things at a better level he wouldnt even really need to shoot.
Ya, it’s shocking he doesn’t get to the line more the way he attacks the rim. Also I’m not sure pg is his natural position, maybe I’m wrong and he just needs experience. I know he had 8 assists last night but he missed out on plays he could’ve easily made for his teammates. He has too much tunnel vision with the ball much in the same way JC does.

There's nothing that makes the alarm bells go off in my head more than the phrase "if he just improves his shooting".

It's the toughest thing to improve in the NBA and very rarely happens in a way that really makes a difference. It's better to just try to get guys who already can shoot.
Lmao do you just open your mouth and crazy things just spew out? Dudes improve their shot all the time, and some significantly. Karl Malone comes to mind for one.

In general decision making is a problem. He’s improved… needs to stay in shape this offseason… still not worth his contract price but whatevs. His game is not a crime against basketball humanity like Rudy Gay… who I hope is sent packing one way or another this offseason.

Still think his defense is the only reason to think he gets another contract. But if he keeps dropping dimes and punishing the puny he can be a reserve on our playoff run as far as I am concerned.
All I know is we better hope the FInnisher's great season isn't one and done, or we will be right back in the business of making promises about wash outs and cast offs like THT, although he has stepped up a lot

He isn't a natural pg but this league is full of really good players at the point that aren't natural pg's. He still has a lot of work to do but getting force fed minutes is huge for his development because he can try different things and actually play through the brain farts that he has at times. This offseason if we can get him to buy into a strict diet and training regime that can get him down to around 220 pounds then he could be pretty special athletically. If I had to guess right now I think he is right around the 235 pounds that he is listed on websites.

I'm a little surprised we haven't revisited the Stanley Johnson portion of this trade. He played well for the spurs and he is young enough that he can fit with our younger guys and plays a position of need. Why not take a cheap look at a guy that can be a 3 and D guy for us off the bench.

We saw him and didnt like him that much I guess. The Spurs must not have liked him that much either. Does seems weird though. He was
