What's new

Big Al in action.

I'm pretty sure I haven't seen the Jazz play the Wolves since the Garnett years.
I have. And it seems the Jazz have struggled more against Minnesota than any other team has. Two years ago, Utah lost at home to the T-Wolves as part of that terrible 2-7 stretch to end the season that resulted in the #8 seed. Last season, Utah split the season series with Minnesota.

As for Big Al, he averaged 19-10 against the Jazz last year (in 4 games) and 23-8 the season before (in just 2 games before he got hurt).

I wish the season would start already. I'm excited to see the Williams to Jefferson connection. Al is an automatic 20-10 player in the Jazz system. And it could be something like 25-12 if Okur is out for an extended period of time and Jefferson is getting 38-40 mins/game.

here is what i'd like to see

How well will he pass out of the post? this could, paradoxically, get him more touches as his buddies in the perimeter will be more likely to dump it to him down low.

LMAO at Carlos El Matador. I ain't gonna miss that kind of defensive effort.
What's so poetic about that YouTube "Block of the Night" is that after Boozer gets pwned on AJ's fake (and Mansap's block cleans up CB's mess), Boozer still ends up with a stat-padding rebound.

AJ blows by Boozer and then lures Booze into the paint; but playing "follow the leader" and camping under the basket are the easy part.
