Big Al to stay in Utah in Offseason to work out with Millsap

Good news but if I were KOC, I'd be putting Malone on the payroll and shipping Sap, Al and Favors down to Lousiana for the summer. Karl's workouts would be a revelation to them.

With the lockout, coaches wouldn't be allowed to work with players. Maybe that's why they haven't publicly reached out to Malone. Maybe they just gave his number to Jefferson and Millsap.

So, I have a friend that works with the Jazz organization and he had to drive Favors around the other day. He was talking to Favors and Favors asked him where all the Jazz players lived. My friend then asks him, "You don't know? Haven't you been to their house?" Favors replied that he hadn't hung out with any of them and all he does all day is sit alone in his hotel room. Kinda sad.

My friend then asked Hayward about it, and Hayward said that Favors never talks to anyone. He never talks in practice, he never talks in the locker room. He never talks to anyone.

Anyways, I hope Favors/Jazz figure this out. The dude can't sit in his hotel room all day and be happy here.

Have you seen or heard this kid interviewed? He sounds like a lost puppy. He's 19, can't go to bars or clubs, he's on his own in a new, strange city.

Just wait. He's our Forrest Gump. The kid is going to come back next season ripped to all holy hell and ready to **** up the NBA. Book it.

But will he have friends?

I still have a hard time believing no one has invited him to dinner or something like that.

Some people are just introverts. They have no trouble being alone or accasionally in small groups. For all we know, favors routinely turns down invatations.

How's that? Malone's not a coach.

That's the point. Malone said he'd be happy to coach for free. If he's serious then not signing him as a coach is a great idea because during the lockout payroll coaches will be restricted from working with the team while wink-wink-nudge-nudge coaches still could. I hope somebody's thought to share Karl's phone number around the locker room so that guys can give him a ring if they feel like it. Unofficially.

Just looking at him on the bench, he's obviously introverted. Not all guys are real socialably inclined; doesn't mean he dislikes anyone. No concern; he is very focused when he's on the court and reacts to game situations appropriately, which are obviously more important...

he may be introverted, but this might also be a symptom of being on a team without a leader. You know if he were traded to the Celtics that KG would have him hooked up like a MFer. No questions asked.

I said this in another post, but all I want to see is Al and Sap work passing drills after passing drills. Ty needs to figure out what his offense is going to look like, lay out where the cutters in next year's plan will be coming from, and then Al and Sap need to make 50,000 passes in simulations.
