2. one of the top 4 falls to us/we can trade for them.

Agreed. If all the hype about this draft is true, why would any of the teams in front of us give the chance to get that franchise player? i don't see it.
 
What's interesting is the Jazz could put together a Chris Webber type draft day trade if they want to. This is what the trade looked like:

" In 1993, the Orlando Magic traded the rights to Chris Webber to Golden State for the rights to Anfernee Hardaway and three future first-round draft choices."

The Jazz could do just as good.

I would also note that no current players were traded by either team. I'm not saying that Jazz shouldn't offer a player up I'm just saying that have accumulated a lot of future assets. Players don't necessarily need to be traded.

Or taken Thabeet over Blake Griffin (Blake was hardly known as a defender).
 
God, I hope the Jazz don't get Parker. You won't be able to criticize him at all. Sorry folks Parker isn't perfect and there is very little chance he is coming to Utah except with a road team.
