They may very well get Andre Drummond or Thomas Robinson down the road.

Also, I didn't mean assume because it is likely. I meant assume for the sake of argument.

Uh, no, he was not that highly touted.

Lookie here:

Also not laughing is North Carolina coach Roy Williams, whose Tar Heels fell to Wall's Wildcats 68--66 on Dec. 5. "A lot of guys say things, but I believe he has the hunger to do that," says Williams, who calls the 6'4", 197-pound Wall the finest point guard he has seen emerge from high school since Kidd, nearly 20 years ago. "He has great size and speed for a point guard, tremendous lateral quickness and an ability to defend, make big plays at crunch time and make other players better. I think the sky's the limit for him."

Here is another big man combo to add to the discussion. Griffin and Jordan. I heard a lot of writers claim that Griffin was a man among boys in college and that he would be a top PF in he NBA.

I think that Griffin is he most offensively talented player of the 6, but he doesn't look any better this year than he did last year. If anthing he looks worse.

I am not sure if it is because teams have figured him out or if his game was already mature, but I was waiting for another step from him (especially being paired with CP3) but that does not seem to have happened.

One thing that would drive me nuts about Blake is his free throw percentage. He certainly isn't improving in that category. Obviously he is the best offensive player of those mentioned. I will however say that it looks like Favors is improving at the line and gaining confidence which is nice to see.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if Favors ends up better than Griffin when all is said and done.

And as far as post duos go, I think Favors definitely has the best sidekick in Kanter.

I do think that Davis and Biyombo would be an incredible defensive front-line--unless Biyombo plays Al, who subsequently destroys him again and gives him nightmares for a week via the vivid pump-fake and weezy.

I think this "better" is such a relative word, and I agree with you. In order to be a truly elite player, you have to bring it on both ends of the floor, otherwise you can be exploited in certain ways. Favors is showing his defensive side and has really improved his rebounding this year. I think we'll see his rebounds go up even more. He's already doing some decent stuff on offense and would be scoring at least 15 points/game if allowed to play 36 minutes. So what would you take, a player that dominates defensively and puts up 15 & 11 or someone who has relatively poor defense and puts up 21 & 11. That's just right now, and it is really tough to really improve one's defense, but offensive patience and savvy helps a ton, so your statement could very well be true, and from the perspective of impact, Favors could very well give Griffin a run for his money right now--particularly with Chris Paul as a PG.
