Yep, you heard it here first. Jeremy = win

Our problem is that Jeremy is gone. When he returns he will add the spark to our team that it needs. We will still be tankers, just slightly better tankers.

He was in the lineup and playing well during the Jazz last win the first game of preseason games.

Gotta think why he isn't back from a shoulder sprain though. What happened?

I haven't heard anything about it, has the media even talked to him about it?

it must be a little worse than thought I guess. Sucks for him. This is the year where he cam get a lot of playing time.

I just feel like something fishy is going on. Maybe some other injury that they don't want to reveal?

I think a lot of things will change when Trey, Jeremy, Marvin, and Rush are fully back to health, which will make us a lot more competitive and balanced.

I'm hoping for a rotation like:

starters:

Trey: 30 minutes
Gordon : 36 minutes
Marvin : 22 minutes
Enes : 36 minutes
Derrick : 30 minutes

second unit:

Burks 18 minutes for Trey (some of those w/ Gordon where Gordon is Point-Forward)
Burks 12 minutes for Gordon at the 2. Total = 30 minutes.
Rush - 20 minutes replacing Marvin at 3.
Jeremy : 12 minutes replacing Enes at PF - 6 minutes at SF. Total = 18 min.(love him, but isn't strong enough for extended minutes).
Gobert : 18 minutes replacing Derrick at center

DNP's for:

Lucas, Tinsley, Jefferson, Beidrins, Clark, and Harris.

Marvin is useless.

Rush won't be at full speed for a LONG time.

Jermy is Jeremy.

The only one of those guys I see having a meaningful impact is Trey. These guys aren't going to turn the tank around.

Marvin is a much better defender than R.J. He could really make it easier for Favors and Kanter to do their jobs (right now Jefferson isn't containing his guy and rotating at the right time, which makes it so Kanter or Favors have to choose who to gaurd, their guy or the guy that Jefferson got burned by). That is huge to our success.

Rush won't be ready for a long time? Agreed.

Jeremy is Jeremy, yes, which is someone who is very good as a bench player (which is why we are winning and losing quarters, our bench only has Alec currently).

Trey, I agree he will be a vast improvement over the Lucas/Tinsley backcourt.

I didn't sayt we'll make the playoffs, so don't make it seem like that's what I said. I just said things will be different. We won't be a great team, but we won't be losing big to Boston either.

What the jazz need is shooters. So, yeah, obviously Evans is gonna be exactly what is needed.

I know or at least I think you were trying to be funny but Evans did show some new range in the pre season. Maybe he can be consistant on that 18ft jumper.

Maybe we should just ****ing give Hayward's money to Evans!!! Dumbass!!!

you two are so angry all the time. Its probably just a chemical imbalance in your heads. You should try changing your diet and exercising. I dont recommend drugs though because that can just make it worse.

Doctor Hack

If Evans that much of an upgrade over Harris? Other than the occassional high light dunk I think the two players are pretty much interchangeable. Actually Harris is probably a better open court defender than Evans.

I think evans is much better and its not even close.

HAHAHZHHAHAHAHEHHEEHEHEHEHEHHOHOHOHOHOHO

(gasp)

Jeremy Evans is nothing but comic relief.

Seriously.

Yeah, he's an NBA player, but unless he's playing against the other teams fifth string end of the bench player who doesn't way forty pounds more than he does, he doesn't stand a chance. Sure, he'll get like twelve points on awesome dunks, but his opponent will get at least twenty by swatting him away like an annoying little bug and laying up the ball. Jazz lose by twenty with Jeremy getting significant time.

Now i'll read the rest of the posts for a laugh.

Harris moves on the floor much better than Evans does, though he isn't nearly as athletic. I'd say they even out except for the fact that Evans is making many times more than Harris.

And the fact that evans can actually out the ball in the hoop.
