**Breaking** Trey Burke being discussed in Trades!!!!

Dont contracts have to match to within a certain degree?

This has mostly been touched on, but you don't have to match incoming salaries if one team is under the cap. Once at the cap, teams can only take back 150% of what is sent out. In other words, Booker would only be useful salary in a trade if the Jazz are taking in more than $17 million in salary.

We better not move Burke for anyone less than good scorer. Trey's been a huge part of us hovering around .500 during the injuries.

the way you know that Burke aint worthless is due to the number of teams going after him.

Only way Burke becomes expendable is based on the development of Neto. If Neto becomes a damn good playmaker, then he & Exum might work as the 1-2 punch, forcing Burke out of the rotation (pending we keep Burks).

Or if we can get a better PG back.. which I think all of this is about.

Jazz should trade Burke for a first round pick and sign jimner for the rest of the season.

Only being kind of serious. They should t really sign jimner.

Agree. Also, why at this point in the build would a front office gamble on that happening? Exum and Neto both look like busts. You don't hitch your cart to those horses unless you want to disappoint Hayward and see his *** as he walks on to an airplane heading to Los Angeles.

Now that DET has traded away Brandon Jennings... may be there is a chance they might want Burke?

What could they offer us to make it worthwhile? They have a pretty full roster and seems to be in a 'win now' mode with SVG being the coach as well as the GM... would they give up a draft pick for Burke?

They didnt give up draft picks to take Harris, I don't know why they would want to trade them to get a backup PG.

I've said this before-- I think we hold off on big trades unless Hayward starts getting antsy.

Absurd comment. Neither is anything remotely close to a bust. That invalidates any good direction your post was taking.

Neto was a 2nd round pick. With the fail rate of 2nd round (especially international) players, I don't think he can ever be called a bust. He might not be starting material, but ideally he should be a 3rd PG who comes in off the bench and is a facilitator and a pest. Think he's proven he can handle that job.

Hopefully DL has learned the lesson with Kanter's trade and decided to trade Burke now! Booker played enough well lately maybe he could draw interest from several teams.

If we take Teague or George Hill we could make a decent impression in the playoffs this year.
