Yes. Carroll played great in ATL with Coach Q and DMC credits CQS with improving his overall game. He is a strong defensive player, a great lockeroom guy, and an above average 3PT shooter. He seemed to like his time in Utah and was a crowd favorite. I think he could be a 6th Man of the Year candidate in a Jazz uniform.

Entitled to own opinion I guess. I bet on a lot of Raptors games this season so had them on a lot. To me they are eerily similar players. Burks has more success from 3 and DeRozan has a better mid-range game.

I see DDR as a rich man's Alec Burks. Burks has a better first step, DeRozan has a better handle, drive and dish, mid-range game and P&R awareness. I actually think that DeRozan can be a decent 3 point shooter if he would make better decisions and stick to catch and shoot and corner 3's (he shot 42% from those) as opposed to shooting off the high screen. Leave that shot to Hayward and Hood.
He also has good size for a SG : 6'7" - 220 lbs - 6'9" wingspan (at least when he was drafted). He's known for his work ethic and (I think) would thrive under Snyder with a strong team surrounding him. I think he'd be fantastic as the #1 option for the Jazz.
As far as Carroll goes. . . he's one of my favorite guys in the league, but I'd rather have the next DeMarre Carroll. The physically gifted, high energy guy that elevates his game under Quin Snyder. I was a string advocate for bringing him back last year. . . but I think that ship has sailed.
