What's new

Bring Korver back to the Jazz!

Rather give his minutes to O'Neale. Or even Dante and he's ded.
Korver had some good games after we traded for him, but was old and injured down the stretch. He'll probably sign with Lakers. They need players and not much left.

That’s a bummer. I’m sure Korver feels a little burned. I’d love to have him in some capacity and that relationship back.

I get that he’s old and we are doing pretty well on depth right now, but you cannot tell me the Jazz couldn’t have use for one of the greatest shooters to ever touch a ball and a top-flight character guy in the league.

The Jazz relied on him too much last year. It is not a coincidence that he was gassed or hurt at the end of the season, they were playing him too many minutes and shouldered too much. If you put a hard cap on his minutes and never play him on back to backs, he would have real worth on the court.

He would be a great pickup for three reasons:

1. His shooting is like the oft frequented toilet seat at the blue oyster bar on Sunday Morning at 3:00 am after the annual STD conference... IT'S HIGHLY CONTAGIOUS!
2. Adding Korver would help keep him away from stretching the Lakers.

So what’s the 3rd reason?

^He gets women to buy pink Jazz jerseys. With Kyle gone, lot more ladies gonna be wanting to watch RomComs on Lifetime instead of Jazz games. Whole lotta marital discord gonna happen this winter.

Korver's MPG over the past 8 seasons: 30.5, 33.9, 32.2, 30.0, 26.2, 27.9, 24.5, 21.6
Korver's MPG for the Jazz: 20.1

If he can't handle 20.1 MPG when needed, he shouldn't be taking a roster spot.

He was supposed to be capped at 16 and I disagree.
