Of course Burke is ahead of Cotton at this point. But, like Kanter, he's not a good fit for the Jazz, and not a good team player either. Look at how well the Jazz have played without Burke (without Favors and Hayward, too). But if it was Burke and not Cotton out there the last two games, the Jazz never would never have been in either of the last two games, let alone a blowout tonight. Even when's he's on, he's fools gold, like Westbrook who scores 54 and his team still loses.

Bryce Cotton is my brother and he's better than Trey. Can't believe Kyroto said Trey is miles better. Do not believe that for a second. Bryce is gonna be a better NBA player than Trey. Mark my words!!

I watched him at Providence for 4 years. What you're seeing is basically what he had become by his senior year. It's not a fluke. We knew he would not be drafted. We knew he would never just give up his dream and go make a living in Europe. Teams told him they would take him in later round if he agreed to play in Europe.
The problem with that request, and why he said "no thanks" is because he knew what everybody, at least Utah fans, should know by now: yes he can play in the NBA. Yes, it was silly not to draft him. And yes he is going to stay in the NBA. But he needed Burke to have a sore back in order for his chance to come. Because he's been rejected as not good enough every step of the way(got offered at Providence 2 days before he was to attend a junior college in Az.), he plays with a chip on his shoulder every minute he's on the floor.
He's going to get better. I don't know Burke like you guys do. But I know Bryce Cotton. What you saw last night is what you get when he's on that floor. Like anyone else, he'll have off nights, but the very last thing this kid is is a fluke. Nope, he is better then anyone wanted to give him credit for, and he is flat out proving it.
Fans in Providence are crowing this morning. We are so happy for Bryce. They don't come more humble, you can't help but root for the little squirt, lol. I don't know if he makes this team next year. I sure hope he does. Utah is going to be good. I want my guy on your team. I don't care what string, I want him on your team. He will thrive. He will be a fan favorite wherever he ends up. Why not right where he is? As far as we in Providence are concerned, you Utah folks lucked out. Don't let him go, lol....

Re: Burke. Look at it this way. How many Jazzfanz would want Allen Iverson on the Jazz? Well, that's what Burke is, AI lite, very lite. Definite chemistry-destroyer. Volume scorers have never been good for teams from Wilt on down. In fact, Wilt never won until he became a team player in his later years.
