To the OP,

You think bullying is okay because it is using ones strength to punish or torment or exert dominion over someone who lacks that strength... just like in real life.

Well, in real life your boss has power over you. Your government has power over you. Even your generic local police officer has power over you. Would you be okay with them tormenting you for no other purpose than that they can...that it makes them feel better? It is the way of nature--right? That means that whatever race or religion or political party has the most power at the moment is justified in treating outsiders without respect or decency.

In Hitler's Germany, you are one of the masses who would have joined the party. You would probably have been a very high-ranking member of the SSS. But, hey it is justified evolutionarily. Who cares about anyone else if all is well in your world.

If your local cop just didn't like the way your face looked and pulled you over at every opportunity, came by your house, or just told everyone that you were a sex offender, you would probably sue the *******.

How is that different from some punk kid grabbing your kid in the hallway or spreading rumors that your daughter is a slut? Part of the REAL WORLD is learning how behave in a society. And, those bullies are the ones who need to be taught the lesson...one that you apparently never learned.

surviving bully attacks takes strength than being a bully but you clearly misunderstand his thread and my oppinion

actually in Germany during that time, the OP would've been one of those sent to a prison camp and possibly the gas chamber. you know, wearing a patch with a yellow star of David...

...back in the day parents of the victim could take on the bully. but nowadays it's a crime to punish other peoples children.
i remember this story of a friend who got bullied his father came
and said who bullied you and he said 1 guy and his 2 friends but they where a few grades higher. so he told him lets get two frineds of yours. so they got 2 friends.
the guys knew where the bullies hanged
so the father drove them over.
he stepped out of the car. went to sit on the hood. told his son go ahead beat them up.
so 3 little guys beat up the bullies. the bullies dare not do something back. because an adult was standing there. the bullies never ever dared do something again.

but nowadays this kind of justice is in someway "morally wrong" and illegal. kids(bullies) now it lost all respect to adults.

in my experience and those from personal friends is jsut to take on the bullies head on.
i have/had kinda pointy ears over the years they rounded out a bit. i was called spock/captain spock. got teased to hell and back but i never let it bother me. people made jokes like you where a baby your parents didn't have towels so after a bath they had to hang you by your ears(pretty funny) but i never let it bother me. till someday in the schoolbus one boy decided to take it to another level and pull my ears, well i kicked the **** out of him. never ever did he opr others bother me again about my ears(sure behind my back they did it).

yeah, that might work in some situations, but many times all it does is escalate the level of bullying and violence. Certainly not a good outcome there...

thats why i said: in my experience and those from personal friends is jsut to take on the bullies head on.

just bullies are weak and by this tactic they realise that the "victim" is stronger.
the beat up the bullies also gave my friend and the victims much needed confidence.
he was about 7 years old when that happened and he thought he beat them all on his own power. not knowing the bullies weren't really doing anything back because his father was standing there.

but yeah cultures differ everyone differs so it might go the other way around.

Go back and read the OP's post. It is insanely out of touch with good citizenship, good parenting, or being a good person. I can't understand why more people aren't as insensed as I am. When did the golden rule become so unpopular?

The comment about Nazi Germany was only, in part, meant as an attack on your character. I truly believe that most people here would join the party just as most people in Germany did. All it takes is a culture of contempt, blame, and selfishness. The idea that it would be okay for one person to trample on the rights of another because it "will make them stronger" is ABSOLUTELY CRAZY.

Again, would it be okay to say that the KKK "picking on" the blacks should be okay because those who survived would be stronger for the experience?

It takes a certain type of strengh, but that's different from building or encouraging that strength. The strength would have been there before the bullying. You have presented nothing that indicates being bullied is advantageous.
