Last I heard he had a blood platelet treatment to improve the healing of his injury. Apparently, it was giving him trouble. But the few games I saw him play he seemed to have his old hops back. Maybe he reinjured it? All I can say is that he seemed awful tentative out there, didn't seem comfortable with the ball. About the only thing he did well was rebound.
Just listened to the exit interview. He said he wasn't right even when he came back. But what troubled me about the interview was all the talk about being explosive. Burks' issue is basketball IQ, making plays -- he's got the athleticism to penetrate at will, but he needs to use that not merely to get to the basket but to set up his teammates with good shots. Jingles does that without the athleticism and that's what Alec needs to learn how to do.
