I figure Burks will end up averaging more like 20-25 min a night. From what I've heard I think the staff is selling the team on a long season (100 + games) to where 20-25 min a night becomes ideal to keep players fresh for the playoffs. The quote I'm thinking of was from DL in reference to Hayward playing less, maybe not getting his #'s but being more interested in the teams record.
 
I think I've changed my position regarding Burks. Once at full power and playing at the level we know he can play at, I would not have an issue trading him.
 
Burks has been my favorite player on the team since we drafted him, love his attack style and passion...but the poor guy cant stay healthy. It sucks to say, but I agree with others that think he may on the trade block.
Sucks too cause he seems to really like Utah, he didnt wanna have a team or player option, just wanted a straight 4 year deal to stay with the team.
I hope he comes back and can be a strong 6th man
 
With the team in win-now mode & his value likely low, I'd be surprised if Burks is traded this year. Maybe in the off-season if Hill/Hayward re-sign, Exum develops, etc.
