Burks or Hood?

Why one or the other? Both relatively cheap, their not redundant in any way... IMO the 3rd SG is a much bigger issue than either of them..

Both players bring some uncommon combination of skills to the table. Plus they contrast well, and are kinda interchangable

I've been a huge Burks fan since the day the Jazz drafted him, and I'm glad to see him playing as well as he is...I voted for Burks, but I'd HATE to see Hood go.

 

[Getting Traded]

This is a much closer decision than most are making it out to be. Hood has been playing out of his mind at times but so has Burks. Burks' mid-range improvement has been pretty solid. He's kept the Jazz in games when [Quin's garbage] offense stagnates.

I don't get how you can defend Corbin to the nth degree and diss on Quin, who is at another level, so far as ability to coach? Is it because you still haven't gotten over Corbin? Time to move on, Franklin.

Hood is valuable for quarters 1-3. Burks for the 4th quarter.

From now on I hope to see more Burks/Favors pick and roll in crunch time and less Hayward.
