Burks out indefinitely after ankle surgery

I don't know why we are so sad over him getting hurt. He's never really done much, he's been hurt for almost half his career (will probably be over half before he gets back) and when he has played, he has hurt us more than helped us.

Because he can be elite at driving and getting to the line. Also because it prevents Utah from truly being healthy.

I am undecided on if he would fit in with Snyder or not. Hasn't played enough unfortunately.

I'm getting tired of being right so often. Why did DL ever sign someone who obviously was so injury prone and plays with a dangerous tone to such a contract?

Trade this damn thing as soon as he's finally healthy.

He had no issues when we signed him so injury prone was not part of the equation.

This is part of the tragedy. The timing now makes it awkward to fit him in and see if he can bring anything meaningful.

Also he could have been a trade asset if healthy. The way things are trending we will want to use his cap space to retain Hill. We could likely still trade him and get his salary off the books but if he was healthy he'd fetch a decent first round pick as well.

He also could have wrecked second units and he's a home run hitter of sorts... could come in some nights and give you an efficient 20 points here and there and win you a game you should have lost.

I'm going to pour out a 44 oz Diet Coke for him today... I get free refills so it's not a big deal.

"Elite"? I'm not sure about that. This is what we do know: Burks is really, really good at getting his own shot off.

We also know that when Burks is in the game, the team suffers overall, because he plays outside of the offense so much that he disrupts the entire offense to the point where he becomes a net negative.

In Quinn's offense, Burks is an offense killer. He doesn't play in the offense and he isn't good enough to carry a team (score 25 a night efficiently). He has no place on a good team.

If Alec dislocated his finger the way Hayward did, I truly believe he'd be out for 3 months and go through multiple surgeries. Dude just is made out of glass, unfortunately. I love the guy but he can't stay healthy.

At this point I'm seriously wondering if we will see him play in a Jazz uniform again.

bummer ....more Mack at PG and Exum having to play SG instead of PG

To me this slows Exum's progress and guarantees the Jazz slow pace continues

lololo absolutely every ****ing thing comes back to Exum, amiright?
