Have you ever burned acetone? It smells almost as bad as burnt hair but it's about as low temp a burn as you can get. Back when I worked at a manufacturing plant that poured it out by the gallon we tried to use it for heat in the winter while smoking outside. We put a liter of it in a recess dish and lit it to warm us like bums while we smoked. It didn't put off enough heat to warm a toe and we could dip our hands in it without getting burned.
The one cool thing about acetone tho is it will spontaneously combust if you put it in the right environment. A ton of rags full of acetone inside a metal container and about 100 degrees.
