What's new

But...like really.....how the **** are we gonna get a star?

So that speaks to the lack of talent at SG then, and to Curry's injury problems. The Curry of this season is more of a superstar than George, plain and simple. Teams have to plan for Curry way more than George. Curry changes the GS team more than George changes the Pacers. Plain and simple.

Imagine the Jazz playing the Pacers without George. We'd still lose.

Now imagine playing the Warriors without Curry.

No. Injuries don't have anything to do with it.

Curry's style is flash in the pan. He will have some years where it really translates to wins, but also some where his style is going to translate into losses. He plays regular season basketball that isnt conductive to championships.

Paul George plays consistent basketball (yeah, I know he has been bad offensively this past month) but he still does everything else at an elite levels all the time.

George can turn a franchise around. He is the most responsible for the Pacer's turn around. .

Their franchise turned around when they hired Frank Vogel. Everyone knows that.

Dude. Bro.

Tyson Chandler was not the main piece on a title team. He was the final piece of the puzzle, not the main piece.

Dirk Mother ****ing Nowitzki.

You take away Dirk and is that Mavs team even a top 6 seed in the West? Do they make playoffs?

Missed my point, predictably.

So because Frank Vogel is a good coach we discredit Paul George's ability?

GUYS HOLY CRAP MJ WASNT THAT GOOD CUZ PHIL JACKSON!!!

STOCKTON BEST PASSING PG EVER?? LOL JERRY SLOAN WAS!!!

Now tell me this: how have the Pacers done, in this stretch of George playing poorly?

In a stretch of games where George is shooting 35% from the field, the Pacers have gone 8-2.

D

DURR DURR PGEORGE = SUPRSTRR IDIOTS

Right, because that's what I said. Keep building them straw men, fellas.

Pls try to prove me wrong, that the Pacers did NOT turn around after they hired Vogel. Pls.

Also, understand that I made zero comments suggesting that we need to discredit the play of Stephenson, Hibbert, George, West, and Hill just because of Vogel being a good coach.

Again, you are discrediting PG's ability and impact because his team is setup well and play discplined basketball. They can withstand a bad shooting stretch by him and all of the sudden he isn't that good because of it?

Fixed, and yes. How many other "superstars" can average 3 APG and 35% from the field, and still have their teams of 8-2?
